Hambrick Hammers is currently seeking a full-time, experienced equipment operator to join our team. Safety is a top priority at Hambrick Hammers, and much of your responsibility will focus on ensuring that our equipment and work environments remain in top-notch condition. This position will primarily operate track excavators and rubber tire backhoes but will have the opportunity to operate other equipment and assist with maintenance projects as needed.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Operating backhoes and excavators equipped with hydraulic breakers on rock and concrete demolition projects
  • Operating excavators with buckets on dirt moving and grading projects
  • Daily machine maintenance including fueling, greasing, etc.
  • Assist with other projects as requested by management and team members
  • Aiding coworkers to ensure that the work areas are clean and organized at the end of each shift

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate will have prior experience on a large construction or quarry site, but any individual with heavy equipment experience will be considered 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Must be a self starter
